What we see in Cape Coral
Cape Coral is built around its canals, more than 400 miles of them, and many homes face the water with a pool, a screened lanai and big sliding glass doors at the back. That back wall is where a lot of the work is: handles and latches that no longer catch, rollers worn by salt air, and lanai screen doors that do not close.
The other common call is a new owner. Many homes are bought by people who live up north part of the year. Rekey the house the day you get the keys, and add a keypad if someone else will be letting in the pool or lawn service while you are away.
Every visit follows the same rules as the rest of our crews: price written and signed before we start, marked van, technician with ID, and a pick before a drill.
Questions people ask before they call
How fast can you get to me in Cape Coral?
The Southwest Florida crew is usually at your door in about 25 minutes, day or night. The dispatcher gives you a real time when you call, based on where the nearest van is.
Which number do I call?
855-513-3060, 24 hours. The dispatcher who answers is ours, not a call center, and speaks English and Spanish.
Can you fix a sliding glass door that won't lock?
Usually on the first visit. Most of the time it is the latch or the handle; sometimes the rollers have dropped and the door no longer lines up with the keeper. The van carries the common handles, latches and rollers for the doors used in Cape Coral homes.
Do you go to North Cape and out to Pine Island?
North Cape, yes. Matlacha and Pine Island depend on the bridge and the time of day; the dispatcher tells you a real arrival time when you call.
Do you charge for the trip?
No separate trip fee inside our coverage. The price you hear on the phone is labor and standard parts for the job, all in. After 10 pm there is a small after-hours call, and you hear that on the phone too.
