What we see in St. Petersburg
St. Pete has some of the oldest houses in Tampa Bay: 1920s bungalows in Old Northeast, Kenwood and Crescent Lake with original wood doors, skeleton-key locks and deadbolts added over the decades. We cut keys for old locks and fit new hardware without ruining the door.
Downtown is condos and apartment towers, where the building controls the front door and you control your unit. We rekey units between owners or tenants, open apartment lockouts at any hour, and work with the building manager when the hardware belongs to the association.
Every visit follows the same rules as the rest of our crews: price written and signed before we start, marked van, technician with ID, and a pick before a drill.
Questions people ask before they call
How fast can you get to me in St. Petersburg?
The Tampa Bay crew is usually at your door in about 25 minutes, day or night. The dispatcher gives you a real time when you call, based on where the nearest van is.
Which number do I call?
855-513-3060, 24 hours. The dispatcher who answers is ours, not a call center, and speaks English and Spanish.
Can you cut a key for an old skeleton-key lock?
Usually, yes. We carry blanks for the common skeleton keys and can fit a key to most old mortise locks. If you want real security on that door, we add a modern deadbolt and leave the old lock working for looks.
Do you go to St. Pete Beach and Clearwater?
Yes. The beaches, Gulfport, Largo and Clearwater are covered by the Tampa Bay crew. Across the bridges the time depends on traffic; the dispatcher gives you a real time when you call.
Do you charge for the trip?
No separate trip fee inside our coverage. The price you hear on the phone is labor and standard parts for the job, all in. After 10 pm there is a small after-hours call, and you hear that on the phone too.
